Local funders are partnering with the New York-based Edna McConnell Clark Foundation on the RISE (Readiness, Implementation, Sustainability for Effectiveness) Partnership, a two-year effort to invest $3 million to build the capacity of Philadelphia-area nonprofits to evaluate their impact.
Over $2 million goes to 44 regional nonprofits in first round distributions. Grants will be awarded weekly as crisis continues and challenges grow.
In fourth round of distributions, 101 regional nonprofits receive more than $3.25 million, including ten organizations providing medical care to vulnerable communities.
