Templeton Foundation :Character Through Community” Request For Proposals

Brief Description: 

The Character Virtue Development department at the John Templeton Foundation invites proposals from organizations that seek to strengthen their understanding and practice of character development through communities of practice. The Foundation has allocated $15M for this funding competition.

“The goal of this initiative is to strengthen and empower groups with an interest in character development to carry out this important work,” said Sarah Clement, Interim Vice President of Programs and Senior Director of the Character Virtue Development department. “Our work is grounded in the view that the cultivation of good character can help all of us build flourishing lives, but this is not possible without strong character-focused programs and institutions.”
