In 2022, Philanthropy Network launched “Made to Measure”, an interactive, online tool we built in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. We value the time and thoughtful input from members who served as early adopters. From their input and our more intentional collective wellbeing framework, we have re-envisioned the online platform as PNConnect. It provides additional ways for members to connect and share their most impactful grantmaking, and will help demonstrate the value of intentional work across the network that fosters the development of an equitable region.

We are working internally to augment and enhance essential data points highlighting the imperative of building a foundation of intersectional equity in the platform’s design as a way to capture ways funders are working toward collective wellbeing. This element is crucial and will help provide insight into the philanthropic process, frameworks, outcomes, and the communities our members serve. It also underscores philanthropy’s opportunity and pivotal role in intentional design for collective wellbeing and equitable outcomes in grantmaking and other philanthropic strategies. These changes are essential in a mission-driven network like ours.
Philanthropy Network’s mission is strengthening philanthropy to create a vibrant, resilient, and equitable region. As a catalytic collective, the network is working to demonstrate the brilliance of member’s strategies and investments, and the aggregate power of a network to make substantial progress in augmenting and building a foundation of equity throughout all endeavors.
