It’s both an exciting and critical moment for philanthropy. Funders are grappling with how to re-prioritize and step up to meet the needs of these times. With this sense of urgency and need to evolve, NFG sees funders acting on the need to join forces and come together in creative new ways.

NFG welcomes their network members along with new funders and partners to connect, organize, and mobilize at their 2018 National Convening, Raise Up: Moving Money for Justice, in St. Louis, Missouri on June 5-7.

Submit your ideas through our Call for Proposals Form, which will be open until Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 5:30 pm PT.

Connecting, organizing, and mobilizing philanthropy is at the core of NFG’s work. This role has increased in its value and impact as our membership and network continue to grow—they now count nearly 100 institutions in their membership, with hundreds of individuals participating in our programming. The importance of coming together is clear.

NFG's convening will provide an opportunity to connect with grantmakers committed to racial, social, economic, and gender justice in the U.S. They will share models, strengthen partnerships, and forge new alliances with the goal of moving resources to support innovative place-based work led by and benefitting communities of color and low-income communities. If you believe in this work, this is a conference you will not want to miss.
