At Philanthropy Network, we believe we can go farther when we go together. We hope you will join us!

Eligibility

We welcome all types of philanthropic organizations, as well as wealth managers, family offices, advisors and other professional providers whose work connects directly with philanthropy to become part of our network.  

Most members are based in the five-county region of Greater Pennsylvania (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties), as well as the adjacent counties of Berks, Lancaster and Lehigh. Funders located elsewhere who make grants in the region are also welcome to join.

Categories for membership include:

  • Corporate foundations / company giving programs
  • Community foundations
  • Donor-advised funds and holders of funds
  • Grantmaking public charities and public foundations
  • Grantmaking intermediaries
  • Giving circles and funder collaboratives
  • Private, independent and family foundations
  • Endowed operating foundations
  • Individual donors who grant at least $25,000 annually to multiple grantees ($10,000 for individuals age 35 and younger)
  • Professional service providers that expressly support philanthropy (E.g. investment/wealth managers and advisors, family offices, legal and financial advisors serving as trustees and advisors to trusts and foundations, and consultants to foundations) 

Annual Membership Dues

Direct Giving Organizations / Individuals

Annual dues for foundations and other direct giving organizations and individuals are based on total giving from the most recently-completed fiscal year. Total giving Includes grants, in-kind donations and other financial support awarded to nonprofit organizations, as documented in the most recent available 990/990-PF, audited financial statements, annual report or other reportable data.

For national funders or companies, dues are based on distributions made in the Greater Philadelphia region.
