The NCAN conference is the premier professional development event in the field of postsecondary attainment for students of color, students from low-income backgrounds, and first-generation-to-college students.  This year's NCAN conference will be entirely virtual and will offer workshop sessions, plenary and "spotlight" sessions, and plenty of opportunities for shared learning, socializing, and networking.

The conference will take place Tuesday, Oct. 5 – Thursday, Oct. 7, with each day starting at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. (ET).

Here are a few exciting things to watch for:

  • A plenary address from Dr. Sonja Brookins Santelises, CEO of Baltimore City Public Schools.
  • A series of "Lightning Talks" (back for the third year in a row) – brief, motivational, and engaging talks delivered by NCAN members.
  • An opportunity to win curated prize boxes featuring gifts from minority-/women-/LGBTQ-owned small businesses based in Denver and Atlanta

The postsecondary field has pivoted quickly to respond to students' needs and advocate relentlessly for change. This conference will be an opportunity to reflect on what we've learned and rebuild for the equity our students deserve.

How to Register/RSVP:

Registration is $275 for NCAN members;  $350 for non-members.
