Join Blue Sky Funders Forum's 5th-anniversary celebration in Philadelphia on October 8 - 9, 2019. Blue Sky appreciates the partnership with its member, the William Penn Foundation, in planning this convening. Blue Sky will unveil a shared narrative for the field—the culmination of a multi-year, collaborative initiative between funders, practitioners, and researchers—and welcome your ideas for greater collaboration and impact in Blue Sky's next chapter. On October 8, participants are invited to enjoy an afternoon of place-based learning, and then raise a glass as we reflect on Blue Sky's accomplishments over five years. On October 9, Blue Sky will convene for a day of learning and planning together.

Lying on the Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers, Philadelphia is home to a range of innovative programs and partnerships that connect people with nature. Blue Sky looks forward to gathering to learn from colleagues in this vibrant, historic city!

Blue Sky is a working group of the Environmental Grantmakers Association (EGA), established to promote connections between people and nature and facilitate collaboration among funders. This strategic partnership between EGA and Blue Sky provides more environmental literacy programming to the larger environmental grantmaking community. In addition, Blue Sky expands the conversation about connecting people to nature and advancing environmental literacy, reaching beyond environmental grantmakers to include education, health, and community funders.

How to Register/RSVP:

This convening is free and open to all staff and board members of grantmaking organizations.
