This comprehensive approach to understanding poverty is presented in partnership with Manna on Main Street. Bridges out of Poverty is an interactive training that provides applicable information to enable us to work together as a community, sharing a common language and understanding, to alleviate and eliminate poverty.
This training provides a framework for agencies, businesses, and individuals to create programs and policies that are innovative and most effective when serving or working with those who are in unstable environments. It is helpful for anyone who ever interacts with people who are different from themselves - whether that difference is related to economic class or not.
Throughout the workshop, participants will receive specific strategies for improving outcomes, but the focus is to provide a broad overview of concepts. This training assists employers, community organizations, social service agencies, and individuals in gaining insight and strategies.
