Being an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organization takes more than committing words to paper. It takes connected conversation, engagement, and actionable steps. During this session, participants will examine the stress points in their organizational efforts to create a sustainable organizational culture that not only values diversity, equity and inclusion but cultivates it into practice.
The session leads participants through structured conversations and exercises, allowing them to assess their organizational journey of embedding DEIJB into organizational practice, identify themes and root causes impacting the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives, while also building actionable steps and strategies based on the strengths, diverse backgrounds, experiences, skills and the passions of their organization’s workforce.
At the conclusion of the workshop, each organization will have a toolkit of processes and strategies that support the sustainable implementation of DEIJB into the culture, priorities and practices of the organization and the work done to fulfill their organizational mission.
