This year's colloquium will take place at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center on June 18 and will explore the impact of AI and data on philanthropy. A panel discussion will bring together multiple perspectives to explore how AI can enhance problem-solving without losing human connections, how it affects equity, how philanthropy has engaged with AI for funding initiatives, and how AI has influenced Gen Z in philanthropy.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Jean Westrick, new Executive Director of the The Technology Association of Grantmakers (TAG). Westrick has two decades of experience building communities by leveraging technology, innovation, and program strategy. Previously, Westrick was the Director of IT Strategy and Communications at The Chicago Community Trust, where she led change management efforts for the foundation’s $6M digital transformation initiative.
A post-panel facilitated conversation after lunch includes two separate discussions; AI Framework for Philanthropy by Technology Association of Grantmakers, and AI Guide for Nonprofits by Community Resource Exchange.
