At The Exchange 2021: The Systems Summit, we will shine a light on the central role economic equity plays as a linchpin for driving systemic outcomes across multiple issues.
This year’s conference theme is Capturing the Moment for Equitable Systems Change. The ways in which the Covid-19 pandemic have dramatically changed life as we knew it has, for many, meant significant loss or burden. For low-income people and people of color, the burden has been disproportionate because of inequitable systems that failed them and were not designed to benefit them in the first place.
With our heightened awareness, a greater sense of urgency, and an influx of federal dollars, we have a unique opportunity in this moment to transform the systems that have led to these inequities. Now is the right time for leaders to convene across sectors and issues to learn and work together to transform systems and address root causes that impede so many from thriving.
This two-day conference will bring together funders, practitioners, and thought leaders from across the social sector to share and discuss how we can transform our systems towards equity. We will cover a range of topics, including racial equity, community engagement, income inequality, and multi-sector collaboration that can lead to systemic change and an equitable future for all.
