Pennsylvania Voice invites you to a conversation exploring how redistricting has a profound and lasting impact on policies and resource distribution for key issues philanthropy and nonprofits seek to address—from environmental justice and health care, to education, decarceration, economic opportunity, and racial equity.

Just as the Census endeavors to count every person living in the United States, redistricting intends to justly represent each person. While the Keystone Counts coalition led a successful campaign to improve 2020 Census data collection with a focus on BIPOC communities, the historical reality is that better data will not translate to equitable and accurate representation without additional effort. Civic engagement and community self-determination around redistricting offers a once-in-a-decade opportunity to build momentum toward a more just and equitable future.

Join Fair Representation in Redistricting, The Heinz Endowments, William Penn Foundation, State Infrastructure Fund, Chesapeake Bay Funders Network, Bauman Foundation, and Pennsylvania Voice partner organizations for this insightful discussion.
