Following March for Lives and the 40th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, what specific challenges do folxs on the ground need addressed? What state legislatures are looking to push through copycat SB8 legislation? What will it take to make the FDA’s recent decision to make abortion pills more readily available via telemedicine a real, viable and dependable option for all those seeking abortion? We hope to discuss those questions and more with leaders on the ground as we prepare for what will be a generation-defining 2022.

This briefing serves as a follow-up to NCRP's September emergency call after Texas's new law went through. As the future of Roe v. Wade is being decided by the courts, grassroots abortion funds are running out of funds right now. These groups are critical for reproductive access, racial justice, and our public health, yet they're rarely at the top of the headlines.

The call will be grounded in the recommendations from NCRP's Roadmap to Supporting Health Equity through Abortion Access
