The Greater Philadelphia Extracurricular Collaborative (GPEC) is a network of out-of-school-time (OST) providers, foundations, and other stakeholders that aims to strengthen the OST ecosystem in Southeast Pennsylvania through advocacy and member-services.
Throughout the pandemic, OST providers have played a critical role in supporting children, families, and School Districts. Yet, in the absence of a collective voice for our region’s OST ecosystem, the contributions of OST providers are often unrecognized and under-resourced.
2022 is an important year with changes to local and state governments set to occur. To help ensure a seat at the table for OST providers, GPEC is holding a two-day virtual retreat on February 2nd and 9th from 9:00-10:30 AM. We will unveil GPEC’s strategic vision on the first day for your input. The second day will engage members in developing 2022 advocacy activities.
