In recognition of Israel’s 70th anniversary, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Hazon Philadelphia have partnered to bring this important food summit to our region.

DAY ONE

Hazon Philadelphia and Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia are proud to present Hungry for Change. Hear from food security pioneers working to ensure all residents in Greater Philadelphia and Israel have access to nutritious food. Tour some of Philadelphia’s leading food access organizations, including The Common Market, The Deaver Wellness Farm at Lankenau Medical Center, KleinLife Edible Campus and the Mitzvah Food Project. In small workshops, learn about innovative strategies for food rescue, recovery and justice and for integrating sustainable practices into your daily life. Visit our marketplace filled with a variety of local vendors offering sustainable goods and services.

  • Yuvi Tashome-Katz, Co-founder of “Friends by Nature”
