The challenges of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts have made headlines and inspired institutions to take a closer look at how they operate and who they serve. Reports reveal lack of representation and barriers to participation. As organizations respond to their deficiencies, what are the assumptions they have overcome, and what are some examples to which they can aspire or from which they can learn?

Presented by the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE), Implementing Inclusion panelists will lead a discussion around specific challenges they have faced around inclusion, share the tools and solutions their organizations developed in response, and encourage attendees to create solutions of their own.

  • 4:00-4:30 Registration and reception
  • 4:30-6:00 Program
