Co-Chairs Emma Hertz from HealthSpark Foundation and Maura Jacob from The Pittsburgh Foundation invite funders to join the launch of Funders Together for Housing Justice- Pennsylvania.
The goal is to align, educate, and mobilize philanthropic partners across the Commonwealth to advance housing justice and end homelessness.
The formation of Funders Together for Housing Justice- Pennsylvania builds on and formalizes recent statewide funder meetings centered on addressing the crises of affordable housing and homelessness.
The plan is to be a learning and action-oriented community of funders, dedicated to deepening the understanding of housing and homelessness policy, aligning funding priorities, and advocating appropriately for policy change that ensures safe, stable, and affordable housing for all Pennsylvanians. .
The March 27th meeting will:
- Outline the intentions of the collaboration.
- Introduce the Funders Together for Housing Justice framework.
- Begin to work on identifying commonalities for action and education in order to plan future activities for 2026 which we’ll use
