Join Movement Building Project  for their upcoming webinar highlighting research from their recent report – The Push and Pull. This webinar will examine the data about the variety of factors that “push” BIPOC leaders to take on executive positions, and then too often “push” them to burn out of those roles.

The webinar will also engage a trio of capacity builders and organizational leaders from different U.S. cities. Kavita Khandekar Chopra is the Managing Director, Strategy & Engagement for re:powerBamby Salcedo is a transgender Latina activist and the President and CEO of the TransLatin@ CoalitionKelly Woodland promotes Black nonprofit leadership as the Managing Director of Leadership Equity at the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ). They will share their insights about interventions and programs they run to support and sustain current and aspiring leaders of color.

In this critical moment for our sector and our nation, this webinar will both inform attendees about the challenges facing the next generation of nonprofit leaders and also provide inspirational examples of strategies that generate a positive “pull” towards leadership.
