In October 2021, Impact PHL’s webinar, Answering the Call: Putting Faith into Action Through Impact Investing, explored how faith and impact investing intersect and how local faith-inspired investors activated their assets for impact.
As a next step, ImpactPHL invites you to join an informal and interactive (virtual) conversation to discuss how faith institutions can engage in impact investing strategies here in Philadelphia, and how you can put your capital to work for positive outcomes in the communities you serve and care about.
If you are involved with a faith-based institution (such as a church, congregation, synagogue, mosque, nonprofit organization, or foundation) and are interested in meeting peers to explore the topic, please ImpactPHL on Wednesday, April 20, 12 noon – 1 pm ET.
All are welcome, whether you are new to impact investing, beginning to explore opportunities, already have a program underway, or are just interested in learning more about the topic.
Featured will be local impact investors including the speakers from the October 2021 webinar: Eliot Ingram, Arch Street Meeting, Finance Committee; Amanda Joseph, Director of Faith-Based Initiatives, Calvert Impact Capital; Vanessa Lowe, Unitarian Universalist Committee on Socially Responsible Investing, and member of the Unitarian Society of Germantown in Philadelphia; Stella Tai, Manager of Stewardship Investing Impact and Analysis for Praxis Mutual Funds® and Everence® Financial (which recently opened a credit union branch in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia) – and Margaret Berger Bradley, ImpactPHL Board Member and Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania Vice President of Strategic Initiatives.
