Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia is partnering with the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Greater Philadelphia Chapter (AFP-GPC) to present the 1st Philanthropy Symposium, formerly Funders Forum. In an era marked by growing uncertainty around federal funding streams, the Philanthropy Symposium brings together thought leaders from across the philanthropic sector to explore how the funding landscape is evolving and how organizations can adapt to meet emerging challenges.

The panel will examine the shifting dynamics of federal funding and its implications for nonprofits, as well as share insights into how foundations and individual philanthropists are responding to fill critical gaps and develop responsive funding approaches. The discussion will explore the funder-nonprofit relationships in-depth, looking at how these vital partnerships remain paramount but may be reimagined to create greater impact and sustainability in uncertain times.

Panelists:
  • Kelly Green, Help Hope Live
  • Kristina (Tina) Wahl, The Barra Foundation
  • Matthew Haggerty, RSM
  • Monique Curry-Mims, Civic Capital, Philadelphia Black Giving Circle and Network
  • Samantha Audia, Glenmede
  • Monika Collins (Moderator), The Foundation for Delaware County
