Dr. Nadine Burke Harris will be a keynote speaker at GLR Week 2018! Dr. Burke Harris is a pediatrician and the founder and CEO of Center for Youth Wellness. She’s a national leader in the effort to transform pediatric medicine, raise public awareness and transform the way society responds to children exposed to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress. Dr. Burke Harris will present her keynote address “Supporting Parent Success in Adversity” on Thursday, July 26.

As an added bonus, the first 300 registrants for GLR Week will receive a free copy of Dr. Burke Harris’ book, The Deepest Well: Healing the Long-Term Effects of Childhood Adversity. Attendees will have an opportunity to have their copy of the book signed personally by Dr. Burke Harris.

GLR Week 2018 will take place in Philadelphia’s Logan Hotel located in the center of the city at the crossroads of history, culture and commerce. This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to gather with your GLR Campaign colleagues and peers from across the country. It will be a time of learning and celebration as we recognize recipients of GLR Honors: Pacesetters, Bright Spots and new Council of Champions inductees.

The Logan is within walking distance of iconic Philadelphia attractions such as the Free Library of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin Museum, Academy of Natural Sciences and the Franklin Institute. It is also near the 30th Street Train Station, Reading Terminal Market, the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.
