How leaders and organizations show up in 2021 on behalf of their communities matters more than ever.

Will we set agendas and action plans together? Or will we slip back into the status quo that perpetuates unhealthy and inequitable systems and prevents the long-term change our communities – and society – need?

There are a lot of high hopes for 2021. But hopes don’t simply manifest themselves into reality. If we're going to fundamentally change our society in the ways we know are possible, we need to repair some of our deepest wounds first.

For Independent Sector's first Pop-Up in this year of hope and opportunity will focus on the vital intersection of trust and racial equity, where we must help meet the urgent need of getting vaccines and economic relief to the communities that need them the most.
