Hurricane Florence is projected to be the strongest hurricane to hit the eastern coast of the U.S. in more than three decades. The storm is expected to cause massive flooding and power outages across the Carolinas and Virginia, and could impact more than 20 million people.

Anticipating that Hurricane Florence's wide-reaching impacts will require strategic, long-term investments, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) is hosting a webinar for funders to consider  “Hurricane Florence: What’s Next?”. (Speakers to be announced.)

CDP is also launching its 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season Recovery Fund and details about this fund will be provided during the webinar.

This webinar is provided with generous funding from the UPS Foundation and is co-sponsored by the Southeastern Council of Foundations, the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities, and the Council on Foundations.
