All politics is local, as the saying goes, and so, mobilizing for housing justice relies on implementation and coordination at the local level. Funders Together to End Homelessness’ regional funder networks do just that, gathering funders in relationships of accountability and support, pointed in the direction of our north star, housing justice.
In this webinar, we’ll announce and share recommendations from a new Funders Together resource on regional funder networks, celebrating the existing ones and sharing their insights for prospective networks. Then we’ll have interview-style conversation with leaders from two powerful regional networks: Funders Together to End Homelessness – San Diego and Chicago.
Funders and philanthropy-serving organizations interested in or in the process of forming regional funder networks should register for this discussion, along with those who belong to existing networks to benchmark with their peers.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe key considerations for forming a new regional network.
- Name one concrete first step a new funder network should undertake.
