7TH ANNUAL YOUR WAY HOME SUMMIT
Last year, Your Way Home launched a year of self-exploration to understand the systemic barriers to equitable access to homeless services, outcomes and leadership opportunities in Montgomery County. That work recently culminated in the release of the Racial Equity and Homelessness in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania: Initial Findings Report. The report identified disparities based on race, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation that permeate multiple systems - housing, human services, criminal justice, health, behavioral health, child welfare, education, and others - and provided recommendations for future action.
The 2019 Your Way Home Annual Summit continues this essential and pioneering work by bringing together local, state and national thought leaders and cross-sector partners to share and co-create more equitable solutions in policy and practice that will reduce inequities and dismantle systemic barriers to housing opportunities.
