EAST MT. AIRY (11/5/2019) – The East Mount Airy Neighbors (EMAN) Community Fund of the Philadelphia Foundation is pleased to announce it has awarded $69,700 in grants to six nonprofits providing services to Northwest Philadelphia, with an emphasis on programs serving the East Mt. Airy neighborhood.
William Penn Foundation announced $11.8 million in unrestricted operating support for 35 arts and culture organizations in the Philadelphia region.
This year’s grantee list is the largest in the Philadelphia Cultural Fund's 28-year history and a 19 percent increase since 2016.
The William Penn Foundation announced grants of $2.6 million in their Creative Communities program, which supports artistic and cultural expression that stimulates new viewpoints and helps create places and spaces where new cultural experiences and perspectives can be encountered and shared.
