In two rounds of grants from the Delaware County COVID-19 Response Fund, the Foundation for Delaware County has distributed $148,955 in emergency funding to 24 local nonprofits.
Over $2 million goes to 44 regional nonprofits in first round distributions. Grants will be awarded weekly as crisis continues and challenges grow.
RWJF will provide $50 million in immediate short-term relief to several national and community organizations to help some of the families and communities feeling the greatest strain under the COVID-19 health emergency.
The Barra Foundation is immediately dedicating $520,000 in grants to respond to the short-term needs of the region’s nonprofit organizations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with $50k in additional grant funds going to Food Connect to help feed those in urgent need.
