Please join fellow arts funders on February 7th at 2:00pm for both a catch-up and a part two discussion exploring the relationship between funder and nonprofit through the lens of racial equity. We will be joined by Arreon Harley-Emerson, the Director of Music & Operations at Choir School of Delaware, who has written, spoken, and consulted on systemic racism in philanthropy. We will discuss the importance of language, equitable access to grantmakers, the power imbalance in grantmaking, and conscious and unconscious bias. There will be time for discussion and Q&A, which will be followed by roundtable sharing and updates.
