Join Blue Sky Funders Forum in Atlanta on May 10 & 11, 2022 for their Annual Convening, held in conjunction with the Children & Nature Network's Inside-Out International Conference. Funders and philanthropy serving organizations are invited to join this event to connect with peers, collaborate, and learn about advancements and challenges in the field for ensuring that every person – regardless of race, identity, or community – has the right and opportunity to experience meaningful connections in the outdoors and improve quality of life, health, and social wellbeing. More information about the speakers will be announced soon.
At this year's convening, we are not seeking nominations from funders to invite a grantee. Instead, we encourage funders to consider supporting grantees or partners to attend the Inside-Out Conference for networking and professional development opportunities.
Sessions include:
- A Sense of Place - Spotlight on Local Leaders
- Flash Talks and Discussions with Peer-Funders: Outdoor learning environments in early childhood (Kathleen Doffermyre, George B. Storer Foundation), Constituency Building through Alliances and Networks (Michele Perch, William Penn Foundation), and more
- Access to Nature - A Strategy for Health Equity: Chris Smith, Colorado Health Foundation; National Environmental Education Foundation (invited), Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (invited)
- Elevating Voices - Rethink Outside™ Fellows
- Shifting Power - Equitable Grantmaking Practices
