Funders Briefing on Combating Voter Disinformation

Since 2020, there has been an increase in coordinated efforts to spread false claims about the integrity of our elections. Some of these false narratives have taken root in alarming ways, breeding distrust in our democracy and emboldening bad actors to threaten and harass election workers and voters alike. Drawing on direct experience combating disinformation related to elections and voting, advocates will present an overview of some of the biggest disinformation threats facing voters this election season and identify opportunities for funders to provide meaningful support.
