Community Behavioral Health (CBH) 101

This session will:

• Provide foundational knowledge and overview of Community Behavioral Health and its relationship to the PA HealthChoices (Medicaid) program
• Increase understanding of the state and federal requirements and an overview of the steps in the process to become a CBH service provider
• Increase awareness of how members can access CBH services and behavioral health resources
• Provide tips on how to navigate CBH organizational operations

CBH's target audience for this session includes behavioral health care and other social service providers interested in joining the CBH network, those who work with community members who may be eligible for Medicaid services, and members of the philanthropic sector seeking to learn more about CBH, Medicaid, and managed care in Philadelphia.
