Independence Public Media Foundation 2025 Local Filmmaker Fund

Independence Public Media Foundation’s Local Filmmaker Fund supports filmmakers across the Greater Philadelphia region with the development of their films and gaining skills to further hone their craft. 

Film projects can be at any stage of production, from pre-production to post-production. A panel of local filmmakers and film advocates select each year’s Local Filmmaker Fund recipients. This community-led grantmaking process aligns with IPMF’s vision to share and shift power with the community in pursuit of justice and equity. 

IPMF welcomes a diverse pool of applicants from the Greater Philadelphia area as well as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, women, people who are LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities and people directly impacted by mass incarceration.
