Application guidelines for the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage's 2025 grant cycle are now available. The Center makes panel-adjudicated grants in support of the Philadelphia region’s cultural organizations and artists.
Creative Project Grants
Creative Project Grants support artistically and programmatically excellent, distinctive, and substantive performances, exhibitions, and interpretation projects designed for diverse publics. The Center has two creative project funding areas: Performance and Exhibitions & Public Interpretation. These two areas support projects that are multi- or interdisciplinary, as well as those based in a specific discipline.
Evolving Futures Grants
Evolving Futures grants are again being offered in 2025. Proposals for these grants must be part of a strategic vision designed to make critical changes to your core operational/business model, resulting in demonstrably greater viability and sustainability for your organization. Evolving Futures grants are offered for Planning [NEW] and Implementation.

First steps for all applicants:
- Read the How to Apply page for information on this year’s grant offerings and eligibility criteria.
- Complete the Initial Inquiry Form. All prospective applicants must first complete this form to indicate interest in applying for a grant and to help determine eligibility. The form only takes a few minutes to complete and does not require an online account.
Important Dates to Note
- April 3, 2025 at 11 a.m. EST: Program staff will host an online info session to provide an overview of this year's Creative Projects and Evolving Futures grant application guidelines and answer your questions. Register Here
- May 15, 2025 at 4 p.m. EST: LOIs for Creative Project grants and project briefs for Evolving Futures grants are due.
- Mid-June 2025: Applicants in both funding areas who are invited to proceed to the full application will be notified.
- July 25, 2025 at 4 p.m. EST: Full applications are due.
