With the 2030 Census on the horizon, now is the time for Pennsylvania funders to begin asking how philanthropy can help ensure a fair, accurate, and community-centered count—especially in underrepresented and hard-to-reach areas. In this virtual session, a small panel of experts and civic partners will share what’s already underway nationally and locally, why early engagement matters, and how philanthropic investments—ranging from communications to capacity-building to community trust—can shape equitable outcomes for the next decade in the Commonwealth. Join Philanthropy Network, Grantmakers of Western PA, and PA Community Foundation Association to explore how your organization can play a proactive role in strengthening Pennsylvania’s census readiness and to learn more about the in-person statewide gathering in Harrisburg set for October 20, 2025.
