Brandywine Health Foundation is raising funds to counter the impact of COVID-19 on Chester County’s most vulnerable.
The Recovery Phase will be aimed at grant funding to counter the long term impact of COVID-19.
To date, Chester County-based funders have awarded over $1.5 million in immediate grants to Chester County based nonprofit organizations.
Chester County’s Commissioners have stepped up to help local nonprofits recover from the impact of COVID-19. Through the Restore Chester County Nonprofit Innovation & Resiliency Fund, the Commissioners obtained $3.5 million in federal CARES Act funding.
The Nonprofit Innovation & Resiliency Fund was administered by the Chester County Community Foundation with input from regional funders, United Ways, and Chester County government departments
The Alliance for Health Equity awarded $2,500 unrestricted grants to 30 community grant partners to be used by staff to support their mental health and wellness.
