The Fund for Women and Girls hosted its first Champions of Change Summit: Bringing All Voices to the Table on Friday, March 26, 2021, in a virtual format.
The initiative has awarded over $620,000 in grants in the last two years to advance community-driven solutions to historic food injustice.
Through this new public-private-community partnership, grants will support grassroots organizations and community groups in Kensington through community-driven, participatory grantmaking process.
With funding from the MacArthur Foundation Safety and Justice Challenge, the Ciminal Justice Microgrant Fund administered by the Mayor’s Fund for Philadelphia awarded microgrants to 20 community organizations advancing racial equity in the criminal justice system.
