The Independence Public Media Foundation (IPMF) announces $2.6 million in its final round of grants for 2021, focused support for community-centered journalism, digital equity research and policy, community-led and operated radio stations, and filmmaking, with an emphasis on supporting artists from, and films about, underrepresented communities.
Today PA Humanities announced $1.4 million in recovery funds to 92 Pennsylvania organizations. Called PA SHARP (Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan), the initiative provides up to $20,000 in funding to strengthen and grow the humanities across the state.
The Alliance for Health Equity awarded $2,500 unrestricted grants to 30 community grant partners to be used by staff to support their mental health and wellness.
