As we heard at the Annual Members’ Meeting, the decennial census is a cornerstone of our democracy, determining Congressional districts and driving key decisions made by federal and local government, business, nonprofits, and philanthropy around the allocation of funding and where services are provided.
During this session, the Education Law Center will provide an overview of education funding in Pennsylvania, the status of the lawsuit challenging Pennsylvania’s school funding system, and some possible solutions.
As we await the official decision from the Supreme Court on in Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health Organization that could end the right to legal abortion, join us to hear about how abortion restrictions impact individual and societal well-being, how funders can respond, and what this decision might mean for Pennsylvania.
