This event is open to staff, trustees and board members of Philanthropy Network Member organizations.
Please join your Philanthropy Network friends and colleagues online on Thursday, March 25th for the 33rd Annual Members' Meeting. For this year’s program, we're excited to share results of the recent 2021 Member Pulse Survey, which reveals how members have changed their practices over the past year and their future priorities. Through presentations and breakout sessions, we’ll ask attendees to critically examine whether these changes are enough given the current needs of the region and historic injustices we must right. In the past year, we challenged philanthropy to operate differently. Now, we must keep operating differently and sustain change in our practices.
We’ll start the event with an update on Philanthropy Network, a recognition of members and the results of the Pulse Survey before having attendees rotate through breakout sessions. These sessions are a chance for attendees to share their challenges and successes as we respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and calls for social justice. Topics will be pulled from the Pulse Survey results, SPARX attendee commitments and the principles of Trust-Based Philanthropy explored during last year’s Annual Members’ Meetiing. In each room, members of Philanthropy Network’s DEI Committee will start the conversation with case studies or observations before asking attendees to reflect and share their own efforts. We hope to create honest and vulnerable conversations that will build community and inspire even greater change.
