Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) remains a major issue, that members of Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia, indicate they want to learn more about and work towards. But it's not so simple. DEI means different things to different people. And, strategies to advance DEI are not so clear for many of us.
Please joins us as we discuss how our region is:
- Adding to the ranks of foundation trustees and staff groups that have been historically -and remain- underrepresented in grantmaking;
- Improving equity to promote justice, impartiality and fairness within the procedures, processes, and distribution of philanthropic resources and;
- How tackling issues related to the individual, historical, and structural barriers that limit how which diverse individuals are able to participate fully in the decision making processes that impact certain communities.
