Zoom Meeting

Join Philanthropy Network of Greater Philadelphia, Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania, the Pittsburgh Community Foundation, HealthSpark Foundation, and Funders Together for Housing Justice and for an interactive discussion exploring why this moment in our country’s history presents a powerful opportunity to advance housing justice—and what’s possible when funders act in coordination rather than in silos.

Phyllis Chamberlain of the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania will share concrete opportunities for advancing statewide change through aligned funder action, including examples of initiatives already underway. Wyatt Schroeder of Hemlock & Forge will provide updates on the HUD funding challenges and information on how funders can support their nonprofit and government partners through these changes. Participants will hear examples of how funders in other communities have organized to drive real impact, through partnership with the national philanthropic support organization Funders Together for Housing Justice.

The session will wrap up with a facilitated discussion focused on what funders are doing now locally or statewide, where additional support or shared learning could help, and how we might better align our efforts across the state.
