Join us for a presentation and interactive discussion on the Racial Equity Learning Community, a new effort to deepen learning and practice of racial and social justice concepts in the human services community in Montgomery and Bucks counties.
We will hear from the Bucks-Mont Collaborative, Interagency Council of Norristown, and TriCounty Community Network about their launch in early 2021. The goals of this learning community are to:
- Deepen personal and organizational learning;
- Develop an organizational racial equity action plan;
- Work towards an organizational race equity culture; and
- Participate in inclusive community action and policy reform.
The project is initially funded through a planning grant from HealthSpark Foundation in response to broad community support for a comprehensive equity training program for the nonprofit sector.
We will leave time at the end of the agenda to share updates.
