The State of Philanthropy Tech survey is a critical tool for understanding the evolving role of technology in supporting mission attainment at grantmaking organizations, in addition to greater productivity and efficiency for communities and the nonprofits that serve them. The 2024 report includes insights into:

  • Evolutions in hybrid work and its effects on operations and staff productivity.
  • Growing AI adoption, alongside trends in budgeting, staffing, and reporting to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Progress of DEI education within technology teams and leadership in the philanthropic sector.
  • Emerging challenges and best practices in cybersecurity, including breach prevention and response.
  • Changes in factors influencing tool selection and systems in grantmaking operations.

During this session, you’ll hear from:

  • Jean Westrick, Executive Director, TAG
  • Tess Hanrahan, Senior Information Technology Analyst, Hewlett Foundation, TAG Survey Committee Chair

The survey report will be made available to the public and current TAG members will have access to the raw data following the event.
