Join the Philanthropy Network Food Funders on May 13 for a conversation about the U.S. Farm Bill, its impact on communities in Greater Philadelphia, and the importance of funder engagement in the 2023 Farm Bill reauthorization. The U.S. Farm Bill covers everything from farmer support to community food access, and is the most important piece of legislation that shapes America’s food, farm and anti-hunger programs. Advocacy efforts in Pennsylvania are well underway, and this program will highlight what Pennsylvania funders are already doing in this space and how local funders can engage.

Speakers:

  • Brian Gralnick, Director, Social Responsibility, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia
  • Traci Bruckner, Senior Director, Public Policy, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Funders
  • Andrew McElwaine, Vice President, Sustainability, The Heinz Endowments
  • Josh McNeil, Executive Director, Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania
