On Thursday, October 1, at 2 PM ET, the Chronicle of Philanthropy will host a free online briefing in which we’ll explore how the philanthropic world can overcome challenges and harness opportunities created by the country’s multiple crises.
In her “Reimagining Philanthropy” series for the Chronicle, Stanford University philanthropy expert Lucy Bernholz points out that measures of charitable giving and nonprofit vitality have declined during the pandemic even as thousands of people take to the streets, deliver aid to neighbors, and create online communities of care. Together with other experts, she'll examine how to best rebuild — and reinvent — nonprofits in this new normal.
You’ll learn from:
- Lucy Bernholz, Senior Research Scholar and Director, Digital Civil Society Lab at Stanford University’s Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society
- Cheryl Dorsey, President, Echoing Green
- Crystal Hayling, Executive Director, The Libra Foundation
They’ll offer practical advice and take your questions in a session that should appeal to all who think and care about the future of philanthropy.
