The VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn distributed $135,000 in general operating grants through the first round of its North Penn Unity Grant program, designed to help nonprofit partners better cope with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
New funding supports operating expenses and promotes racial equity at 22 local organizations responding to increased demands and organizational stressors of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, financial support from the Judge Alfred L. Luongo Fund at the Philadelphia Bar Foundation was released to participants in court programs dedicated to supporting individuals in reentry.
