The Alliance for Health Equity is excited to announce the launch of the Let’s Talk Allyship: Community-Designed Solutions Challenge. This is a five-part series developed to invest in Coatesville’s community voice and capacity-building efforts. From February - June, The Let’s Talk Allyship Challenge Series will take participants through a process of innovation to explore, test, adapt, and fine-tune community-created solutions. The winning community-created solutions will be adopted and implemented by government, nonprofits, and grassroots efforts.
In November – December 2022, over 100 members of the Greater Coatesville community convened and developed seven challenge questions for the Let’s Talk Allyship: Community-Designed Solutions Series. The questions relate to economic development, behavioral health, health recovery, education, workforce, and housing. The challenge questions were informed by publicly available data and a content area expert.
The Let’s Talk Allyship: Community-Designed Solutions encourages the Greater Coatesville community to provide solutions to the seven challenge questions. The Alliance will select ten (10) ideas and solutions for each event date in the Let’s Talk Allyship series on February 16, March 23, April 20, May 18, and June 15. Proposed ideas will be provided with a free consultation before the presentation to attendees and panelists. Each session will take place at The Brandywine Center Kay Conference Room (744 East Lincoln Highway) from 4:30 - 6:30 PM.
Participants can submit ideas on one or more challenge questions listed below: :
