The Council on Foundations’ 2024 Grantmaker Salary and Benefits (GSB) Survey is now open! The annual survey yields the GSB Report, the most comprehensive guide to compensation information in the philanthropic sector, which grantmaking organizations across the U.S. use every year to set salary, benefits, and board policies.
Both Council on Foundation members and non-member grantmakers are welcome and encouraged to take the survey. The sector is served best when everyone participates in the GSB Survey. All survey participants receive a complimentary copy of the full GSB Report, as well as access to the Council's dynamic online benchmarking tool, Benchmark Central, where you can run deeper salary, benefits, and demographics comparisons by asset size, grants, geographic location, and grantmaker type.
