“Pew is highly regarded throughout Philadelphia for its thoughtful engagement in local policy efforts, for partnering with the region’s health and human services organizations to support our most vulnerable residents, and for its contributions to the arts and culture community,” said Frisby-Greenwood. “I welcome this opportunity to further serve the region and its people, and I look forward to working with leaders across our area to build a brighter future for all residents.”
In her role, Frisby-Greenwood will oversee Pew’s portfolio of grantmaking and programmatic work in Philadelphia, which includes informing discussions on important policy issues facing the city, supporting the health and welfare of the region’s most vulnerable populations, partnering with local institutions to encourage a thriving arts and cultural community, and pursuing civic initiatives to strengthen Philadelphia’s appeal to residents and visitors alike.
