December 12, 2024 -Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia Foundation has announced a significant funding initiative, awarding $2.9 million in grants for 97 nonprofit organizations serving vulnerable populations throughout Greater Philadelphia. Nonprofits in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, as well as Camden and Burlington counties, will greatly benefit from these new funds.
“Philadelphia Foundation is proud to announce nearly $3 million in grants to support nonprofit organizations serving vulnerable residents across Greater Philadelphia,” said Leann Ayers, Director of Grants and Programs at the Philadelphia Foundation. “These grants, focused on advocacy, direct service, impact, leadership, and the Fund for Children, will support our community partners to continue their vital work in breaking the cycle of poverty, strengthening community connections, and making a difference in partnership with marginalized individuals and groups. By investing in these organizations, we are investing in the future of our region and making sure that all members of our community have the opportunity to thrive.”
